Loan Accounting and Risk Manager - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of loan accounting, including overseeing CECL models, performing related calculations, and ensuring proper reconciliations and controls.

In Short

• Own and manage all accounting functions related to the credit union’s loans.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of CECL models, support calculations, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with loan origination departments and senior management.
• Lead the development and enhancement of financial models and processes.
• Provide expertise on CECL accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Act as the department liaison for internal and external credit union projects.
• Assist with special projects related to reserve methodologies.
• Work closely with other departments on interdepartmental initiatives.
• Implement projects and analyze key data.

Requirements
