DevOps Engineer (Telecommunications) - Remote

Overview

An experienced DevOps Engineer is needed to design, deploy, and maintain critical telecommunication infrastructure in a fast-paced, global environment.

In Short

• Design, deploy, and maintain SIP trunking infrastructure and telecommunication systems.
• Lead high-impact DevOps projects and implement automation tools such as Python, shell scripts, and Ansible.
• Integrate and monitor systems using ELK stack, Grafana, Alert Managers, and Webhooks.
• Onboard carriers, configure interconnects, and manage network components including BGP, VLANs, Subnetting, and MPLS.
• Troubleshoot voice and network issues using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, Empirix, and SIP ladder diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with international telephony regulations while optimizing cost, performance, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with vendors, external partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communication solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps roles, particularly in telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of SIP trunking and voice network protocols.
• Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring systems (ELK stack, Grafana).
• Understanding of networking concepts (BGP, VLANs, Subnetting, MPLS).
• Ability to troubleshoot network and voice issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
