Overview

The Administrative Assistant II will perform general administrative duties for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Core, providing support to managers and employees while ensuring efficient office operations.

In Short

  • Perform administrative duties including office organization and data entry.
  • Manage calendar and support DEI Core initiatives.
  • Compile data for contracts and grant proposals.
  • Coordinate meetings and functions with various stakeholders.
  • Provide back-up support to executive assistants.
  • Purchase office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Take detailed notes at meetings.
  • Manage shared email inbox and communications.
  • Verify and approve routine budget expenditures.
  • Contribute to the coordination of DEI events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of complex administrative experience.
  • Strong computer and word processing skills.
  • Proficiency with various software packages.
  • Some budget experience necessary.
  • Commitment to DEI principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong accountability and follow-through skills.
  • Basic to intermediate IT expertise preferred.
  • Previous experience in non-profit or healthcare settings is a plus.
