Remote Data Entry Operator - Entry Level

Overview

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for typing, proofreading, and editing electronic documents to support daily production in the patent industry.

• Type, proofread, and edit electronic documents.
• Correct OCR errors and transcribe data from source documents.
• Verify entered data with source documents.
• Apply composition codes and style rules.
• Check for compliance with style guide rules.
• Meet quality requirements and production deadlines.
• Problem solve and escalate issues impacting delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and projects.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Report to an Edit Team Supervisor.

• Able to perform repetitive tasks reliably and accurately.
• Aptitude for recognizing visual patterns.
• Ability to follow written standard operating procedures.
• Good verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Located in Virginia.
• Subject-specific focused knowledge is desired.
