Senior Facilities Technician - Data Center - Remote

Overview

The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the continuous operation of all building systems within a data center, focusing on electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

In Short

• Maintain and monitor data center electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure 100% uptime.
• Work with fire/life safety and HVAC systems.
• Analyze system operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials.
• Manage work orders and customer-facing tickets.
• Respond to site emergencies and incidents.
• Physical capabilities to lift, climb, and navigate campus settings.
• 4+ years of experience in data center/critical facility operations.
• Strong communication and computer skills required.

Requirements

• Experience with UPS systems and emergency generators.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
• Familiarity with CMMS.
• Universal EPA 608 certification preferred.
• Trained in NFPA70E.
