Overview

The Senior Facilities Coordinator role will assist the onsite staff with operational activities by providing customer related support and service to enable onsite delivery staff to effectively deliver facility management services and also provide broad level administrative support to the site team.

In Short

  • Oversee and guide contractors delivering property and facilities services.
  • Assess and allocate work to contracted service providers and inhouse team members.
  • Perform facilities and asset management services, and minor maintenance and repairs.
  • Utilize asset management and facilities work order management systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and management.
  • Participate in emergency, safety, and business continuity planning.
  • Contribute to broader projects requiring facilities management involvement.
  • Place the Client at the center of all decision making.
  • Support the team effectively as needed.
  • Embrace and celebrate diversity within the workplace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Facilities Administration/Coordination role.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with cooperative work style.
  • Experience assessing maintenance and repairs work requirements.
  • Knowledge of computerised systems for administration activities.
  • Ability to meet targets and support team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in supervising contracted services.
  • Understanding of facilities management principles.
  • Ability to participate in emergency response activities.
