Process Instrumentation Technician - Remote

Overview

The Process Instrumentation Technician will conduct calibration, repair, diagnostics, and modification of industrial process control instrumentation, assisting with engineering and evaluation of new instrumentation and process control systems.

In Short

• Conduct calibration and preventive maintenance on analytical and laboratory instruments.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, install, and modify process control instruments.
• Assist with control systems start-up and validation.
• Write calibration and equipment service reports.
• Interact with Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Maintenance staff.
• Review and confirm completion of work orders in CMMS.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines.
• Work in a clean room environment.
• Expected to be on feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.
• Available to work overtime and varying shifts.

Requirements

• Experience with industrial process instrumentation and systems.
• Familiarity with PID control theories and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
• General knowledge of shop tool operation and safety.
• Preferred certificate or degree from a technical institution.
