HVAC/R Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The HVAC/R technician position is part of the IFM team responsible for delivering Facility Management services at a CommScope, Inc. location in Shakopee, MN, involving maintenance of HVAC equipment and environmental systems.

In Short

• Maintain Heating Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures.
• Install new equipment as needed.
• Conduct studies for energy efficiency opportunities.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Maintain records and documentation for facility operations.
• Coordinate vendor contracted work.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate ongoing maintenance status with leadership.

Requirements

• Universal Refrigeration Certification required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and use ladders.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Good general computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years field experience or 5 years total field experience.
