Overview

JLL is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems for various industrial processes and warehouse distribution equipment, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance.

In Short

Design and develop automation control systems.
Implement and optimize automation processes.
Maintain and troubleshoot control systems and machinery.
Train and mentor Automation Apprentices.
Work closely with client teams for system optimization.
Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis.
Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance.
Provide remote technical support.
Drive continuous improvement projects.
Communicate technical issues with leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with PLC-controlled automation.
2+ years of experience with robotics work cells.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Problem-solving mindset for debugging systems.
Experience with electrical theory and automated equipment.
Adaptability to keep up with industry trends.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
