Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

JLL is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems for industrial processes and warehouse distribution equipment, maximizing equipment reliability and performance.

In Short

• Design and develop automation control systems.
• Implement and optimize automation processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems and machinery.
• Train and mentor Automation Apprentices.
• Act as a technical expert in automation control systems.
• Work with client teams to optimize systems.
• Monitor metrics and address performance issues.
• Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Provide remote technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC-controlled automation.
• Experience with robotics and control systems.
• Proficiency in Ladder Logic programming.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptability and continuous learning mindset.
• Field service engineering experience preferred.
