Overview

The IT Security Engineer is responsible for executing cybersecurity operational procedures to prevent, identify, remediate, and report on potential security incidents while continually assessing the organization's security posture.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in IT roles.
• 3 years as a SOC analyst or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and security devices.
• Experience with EDR and XDR services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender Security suite.
• Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, KQL).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
