IT Security Engineer - Remote

Through close collaboration with renowned manufacturers, they provide tailored solutions for the efficient operation of modern IT infrastructures.

To expand the 8-member security team, an IT Security Engineer is currently being sought. In this role, you will have the chance to actively shape innovative security solutions and advise clients on selecting and implementing optimal IT security strategies. In Short

• Support the sales team in developing tailored security concepts
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable IT security solutions
• Implement and commission security solutions on-site at the customer
• Plan and conduct security training and customized workshops

Requirements

• Completed studies in (business) computer science or comparable; alternatively, a completed training with IT reference
• First professional experience (2-3 years) in the IT security environment
• Solid knowledge in the network area (e.g., firewall management) as well as ideally experience with IT infrastructures, security concepts, threat modeling, and/or endpoint security
• Knowledge of security-relevant standards (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001)
• High communication skills
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Willingness to travel 50% within Germany
