Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.

In Short

• Position is pro-bono (unpaid) and requires a minimum six-month commitment.
• Approximately six flexible hours per week.
• Responsible for managing financial activities including budgeting and cash flow.
• Advises leadership on finance-related issues.
• Develops and implements financial policies and procedures.
• Builds and manages a finance team.
• Ensures compliance with financial regulations.
• Requires access to a personal computer and WiFi.
• Must be a New Jersey resident.
• Virtual opportunity with no fixed address.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
• Professional experience in finance and accounting management.
• Management or team leader experience.
• Skilled in managing a team of volunteers.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Comfort working virtually and managing a remote team.
