Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in HIM/HIT preferred.
• Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, and/or IP Coding Auditor for MS-DRG required.
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on medical coding experience.
• At least 3 years of MS-DRG auditing experience in a hospital setting.
• Broad experience across all body systems.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain productivity standards.
• Location restrictions: Cannot hire candidates from California, Alaska, New York, or Colorado.
