Junior Accountant (all genders) - Remote

Overview

As a Junior Accountant (all genders), you will be responsible for the complete accounting of JAKALA Germany's locations in Hamburg, Berlin, and Vienna. You will work in a team to ensure that invoices and salaries are correctly created and paid, supporting our growth in Germany and collaboration with the JAKALA Headquarters.

In Short

• Responsible for the entire accounting process for JAKALA Germany.
• Process payroll and salary statements for employees in Germany.
• Collaborate with external tax offices for balance sheets.
• Act as a point of contact for auditors during annual audits.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for controlling.
• Create weekly cash forecasts.
• Analyze key figures and trends to support business decisions.
• Possess a degree or training in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in German and very good English.

Requirements

• Training or degree in tax consulting or financial accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of payroll and salary topics.
• Experience with SAP and ideally Datev.
• Experience in the implementation of financial software.
• Structured and timely work ethic.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and very good English.
