Product Owner - Remote

Overview

You want to create digital products with real value for millions of people on the go? As a Product Owner (all genders), you take a central role in the development of modern mobility apps for public transport. In interdisciplinary Scrum teams, you work closely with UX, Design, QA, and Development to ensure that ideas become user-centered, performant, and reliable applications.

In Short

• You are responsible for the technical steering of product development – from vision to go-live.
• You create and prioritize the product backlog with several Product Owners, define epics and user stories, and ensure clear goal orientation in the team.
• You are in direct contact with mobility partners and ensure successful deep integration and smooth operation.
• You closely coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• You accompany the implementation in native (iOS, Android) and partially cross-platform-based (KMP) technologies.
• You ensure that quality, user-friendliness, and technical feasibility are in harmony.
• You analyze user feedback and KPIs and derive optimization potentials from them.

Requirements

• You have experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role in agile product development.
• You are familiar with mobile applications – ideally in the area of iOS, Android, or cross-platform (e.g., KMP).
• You work in a structured manner, are communicative, and have a good sense of user needs.
• You bring experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
• You have ideally worked with interdisciplinary teams and understand the interfaces between UX, Design, QA, and Development.
• You are interested in mobility topics and want to help shape digital solutions with societal relevance.
• You master the German language perfectly in speech and writing and can also communicate effectively in English.
