Assistant Vice President, Building Consulting - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an AVP to join our Building Consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional project managers and estimators.

In Short

• Evaluate the impact of disasters on structures and environments.
• Minimize damage during emergencies by deploying resources and coordinating evacuations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at project sites.
• Allocate resources efficiently and manage schedules.
• Interface with clients and project representatives.
• Schedule and perform field inspections to evaluate damage.
• Estimate medium to large commercial and residential projects using Xactimate.
• Document and analyze project-related documents.
• Provide technical direction to other consultants.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or 5-10 years of experience in the restoration industry.
• Experience in restoration contracting and working with insurance companies.
• Proficiency in estimating software like Xactimate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and be detail-oriented.
• Strong independent work ethic and leadership skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
