Area Leader - Forensic Architecture & Engineering - Remote

Overview

J.S. Held is seeking a senior-level Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical and operational leadership within our Forensic Architecture and Engineering practice group.

In Short

• Lead a local team of forensic experts and engineers.
• Provide operational management and technical guidance.
• Monitor team performance and metrics.
• Delegate assignments based on team members' skillsets.
• Ensure compliance and uniformity in established guidelines.
• Manage P&L performance and compensation reviews.
• Conduct forensic investigations and provide expert witness services.
• Prepare and deliver technical papers.
• Encourage active involvement in professional associations.
• Travel as necessary for field observations and testing.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• PE or SE license required.
• 10 years minimum of engineering experience.
• 5 years minimum of forensic experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and business skills.
• Expert witness experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Desire to learn and grow within the profession.
• Ability to travel as necessary.
