Overview

The Medical AR Follow-up & Denial Specialist is responsible for analyzing and resolving insurance claim denials for DME Supplies, generating appeals, and ensuring correct billing and coding.

• Hiring remote experienced billers in specified states.
• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
• Responsible for resolving insurance claim denials.
• Generate written appeals to carriers.
• Analyze trends in denied claims.
• Communicate denial patterns to management.
• Assist with coding problems and educate team members.
• Must have own computer equipment.

Requirements

• Three or more years of DME billing/coding experience.
• Experience with collections of insurance claims.
• Background in Medicare and/or Medicaid.
• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience.
• Preferred EDI transmission experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
