This role is primarily focused on transaction entry and account reconciliation in QuickBooks.

In Short

• Work as an Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist for a U.S.-based CPA firm.
• Focus on transaction entry and account reconciliation in QuickBooks.
• Must have a strong accounting or bookkeeping foundation.
• Investigate discrepancies in transactions independently.
• Work remotely with required hours from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
• Must have a fixed fibre internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
• Power backup is mandatory to handle outages.
• Communicate findings and resolutions clearly with team members.
• Identify and resolve account discrepancies efficiently.
• Work on both South African and U.S. public holidays.

Requirements

• Experience with QuickBooks is essential.
• Understanding of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be available to work EST hours.
• A reliable power backup solution is required.
• Must have a wired Ethernet connection.
