Overview

We are looking for a qualified Big Data Developer to join the IT Department of Finance at a bank, responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing Big Data solutions in the AWS cloud.

In Short

• Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines for financial data.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows from various data sources.
• Implement systems using Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Write maintainable and scalable code in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for data insights.
• Design real-time and batch processing systems.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems.
• Monitor and improve data processing system performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions with innovative ideas.
• Maintain CI/CD workflows for infrastructure and software deployment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Big Data Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency with Big Data frameworks: Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
• Experience in programming languages: Java, Python, Scala.
• Experience in Complex SQL.
• Understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
