Payer Maintenance Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The payer maintenance coordinator acts as the liaison between multiple department and vendor partners and Revenue cycle to ensure contract information is loaded accurately into the system, payer mappings, and ensure that revenue is appropriately cognized.

In Short

• Update contract status, rates, and criteria within relevant systems.
• Complete payer maintenance processes for internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Quality and Audit teams on SOX controls.
• Review insurance contracts and their impact on revenue recognition.
• Engage with Finance and Accounting teams on rate changes.
• Research payer requirements for updates.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate data entry.
• Utilize communication tools for virtual collaboration.
• Validate external processes including payer designations.
• Lead feedback communications with EHR Integration teams.
