Credit Research Analyst - Latin America - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced credit research analyst to join our Debtwire Credit Research Team, providing insights and valuation analysis on companies undergoing restructuring or capital raising.

In Short

• Produce Credit Reports on high-yield, distressed, and stressed companies.
• Engage with subscribers to discuss credit and macro analysis.
• Assist in special reports and ad-hoc projects.
• Interact with company management and IR teams.
• Attend conferences and investor days as necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a credit or equity analyst.
• Strong analytical skills and tenacity in information gathering.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements.
• Knowledge of debt and equity securities and bankruptcy processes.
• Valuation experience, including waterfall and DCF analysis.
• Knowledge of fixed income analytics (Z-spread, duration).
• Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong writing skills for report creation.
• Ability to work in a team and manage workflow under deadlines.
