Senior Clinical Scientist - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Clinical Scientist at Intuitive, you will play a pivotal role in the development of Clinical Evaluation Plans (CEPs) and Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) to support regulatory submissions for medical devices.

In Short

• Develop and author clinical documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Interact with internal cross-functional teams to define strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches to maintain knowledge of current scientific literature.
• Provide product guidance and expertise to the clinical librarian.
• Review and summarize published data on risks and device-specific benefits.
• Manage CEP/CER timelines with project management tools.
• Support the creation of clinical content for various documents.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing core team activities.
• Support the clinical affairs team with the development of clinical study protocols.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of medical writing experience.
• Strong experience in conducting literature searches and scientific data appraisal.
• Expertise in technical or scientific writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across surgical disciplines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MD, PhD, or M.S. degree in a scientific field.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience in protocol development and regulatory submission writing.
