GeneDx is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to join our Clinical Genetics team, focusing on genomic testing and interpretation services.

In Short

• Join a CAP and CLIA certified diagnostic genetic testing laboratory.
• Review and qualify variants identified by exome and genome sequencing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of geneticists and counselors.
• Interpret clinically relevant variants using proprietary software.

Requirements

• PhD, MD, or DO degree required.
• ABMGG certification or eligibility in Clinical Molecular Genetics.
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical diagnostics setting preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of human genetics is essential.
• Experience with clinical analysis of exome sequencing data preferred.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Expertise in NGS analysis and molecular test design preferred.
