General Ledger Accounting Lead - Remote

Overview

Intersect Power is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Lead to oversee the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving process improvements.

In Short

• Manage daily accounting activities and lead the monthly close process.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.

• 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA or Master's Degree in Accounting preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in renewables/energy or utility sectors.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and internal control environments.
• Proficient in accounting software and Google applications.
• Mid-level experience with Excel (SumIF, pivot tables, V-lookup).
• Demonstrated team management experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
