Product Owner - IT Enterprise Applications - Remote

Overview

IDG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner to join our IT Enterprise Applications team, supporting a suite of back-office applications. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in UKG, Workday, iCIMS and Contract Management Systems like Ironclad with a proven experience collaborating with HR stakeholders, and a track record of successfully managing cross-functional project implementations. In addition to HR & Legal, this role offers the opportunity to partner with Finance teams, contributing to broader enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of technical acumen and functional insight, playing a key role in optimizing existing systems and aligning technology solutions with evolving business needs.

In Short

• Build the roadmap and backlog for the initiatives for the Finance, HR and Legal functional areas
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories for technical teams
• Develop detailed program and project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
• Facilitate productive conversations with business stakeholders
• Work with external consultants and vendors and internal resources across SDLC
• Oversee multiple workstreams within a larger program
• Identify and address project risks and issues
• Utilize interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT product management
• Strong understanding of Software Development and the SDLC
• Experience working as a product owner with expertise in backlog management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Proactive approach to challenges
