Senior Data Analyst - Compliance - Remote

Overview

The Senior Data Analyst – Compliance will support the Data Governance program at Interactive Brokers by researching and documenting data lineage from a regulatory compliance perspective.

• Hybrid role (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Create and maintain data lineage maps
• Develop compliance solutions for broker-dealer regulations
• Support the data catalog and business glossaries
• Design supervisory reports
• Assist with regulatory inquiries
• Draft and implement controls
• 5+ years of experience required
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and data quality tools preferred

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at a financial services company
• 3+ years of experience auditing broker-dealer functions
• Experience analyzing data flows
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields
• Knowledge of data catalog and lineage tools
• Fluent with MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High comfort with technology
