SOC Analyst I - Remote

Overview

As a SOC Analyst Level 1 at Intelligent Technical Solutions, you will be the first line of defense in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats. This position requires a hands-on approach to security operations, incident response, and threat detection.

In Short

• Monitor security alerts from various security tools.
• Triage security incidents and escalate as necessary.
• Assist in incident response efforts.
• Conduct forensic analysis on logs and endpoint events.
• Maintain documentation on security events.
• Collaborate with SOC team members.
• Work with clients to remediate security issues.
• Support IT teams in applying security policies.
• Assist in vulnerability management.
• Continuously improve security processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity role.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and networking.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM and IDS.
• Basic knowledge of threat intelligence and attack methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux OS.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must hold CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+.
• Bachelors in Cybersecurity or IT is a plus.
