Business Systems Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing our various Insurance Program technology platform and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with IT teams and business unit stakeholders to create detailed system and workflow requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain configurable information systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot system-related issues.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of information systems.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and underwriters to evolve and maintain the rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems.
• Facilitate seamless transition of programs from acquired companies.
• Provide project management and business updates around key projects.
• Lead and manage on and offshore support resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee inspections and manage surplus lines filing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-years of hands-on experience in commercial lines underwriting or operations.
• Proficiency in configuring and updating insurance policy administration systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently drive projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively.
• Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide project management capabilities.
