Revenue Controller - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Controller will oversee all aspects of revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards and improving processes for a rapidly expanding global company.

In Short

• Responsible for revenue accounting and compliance with ASC 606.
• Manage financial close requirements related to revenue recognition.
• Review revenue contracts for proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare and review SOX control activities.
• Develop and maintain revenue-related policies and procedures.
• Coordinate preparation of revenue-related financial data for SEC filings.
• Serve as a contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting; CPA required.
• 10+ years of related work experience in large public companies.
• 3+ years of experience managing direct reports.
• High proficiency with ASC 606 and revenue operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to implement process improvements.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to manage stress effectively.
