External Data Protection Officer / Information Security Officer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a committed, professional, and motivated external data protection officer to join our modern company with a harmonious and collegial atmosphere.

In Short

• Advising and supporting clients on all matters related to data protection
• Developing and implementing data protection concepts and policies
• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection requirements
• Training and raising awareness among employees and management regarding data protection
• Assisting in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Communication with supervisory authorities and serving as a contact person for data protection inquiries
• Assisting in reporting and handling data breaches
• Creating and maintaining records of processing activities and other data protection documentation

Requirements

• IT affinity
• Desirable: Professional experience in data protection or IT security (but also open to career changers)
• Independent working style
• Proficient in common office software
• Able to familiarize oneself with complex topics
• Willingness to undergo regular training
• Driver's license class B (car) is mandatory
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
