Pentaho Developer - Remote

Overview

The Pentaho Developer is a customer-facing role that involves designing, developing, configuring, and supporting integrations with insightsoftware’s Agility PIM software using Hitachi's Pentaho ETL tool.

In Short

• Interact with customers to analyze their requirements and create customized solutions.
• Work with clients to scope, design, and implement custom technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with actionable solutions.
• Complete a comprehensive training program for Agility PIM.
• Gain expertise in Agility PIM by shadowing other consultants.
• Independently write complex integration jobs after 6 months.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal partners.
• Work cross-functionally to achieve team goals.
• Exhibit passion and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Hitachi Pentaho (6-10 years).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL (6-10 years).
• Experience with web services/APIs and JSON/XML data.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science with competencies in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with PIM, MDM, DAM solutions a plus.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Adobe InDesign, Javascript, or nodeJS a plus.
• Exceptional English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Experience working in a multi-client setting preferred.
