Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and performance-conscious Backend Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong Java and Quarkus experience, a solid grasp of cloud-native architecture, and a passion for building secure, scalable, and maintainable services.

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java and Quarkus.
• Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs and backend components.
• Create and manage efficient MySQL schemas and queries.
• Develop and deploy containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leverage AWS services for scalable cloud deployments.
• Write clean, efficient, and performant code.
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities in code.
• Participate in peer code reviews and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Quarkus framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL with understanding of query optimization.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• Solid grasp of AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools and SBOM management.
• Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
