Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The A/P Specialist will be responsible for the payment of goods and services purchased by the organization and also serve as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payment of goods and services.

In Short

• Maintain knowledge of accounts payable systems and procedures.
• Use Sage Intacct to manage invoices and payments.
• Process wire payments and reconcile credit card statements.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips.
• Contact vendors for invoice verification and problem resolution.
• Review vendor invoices for documentation and approval.
• Process weekly vendor payments and maintain vendor data.
• Handle departmental spreadsheets and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Five+ years in an A/P role.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Team player with interpersonal skills.
