Accounting Strategist - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Strategist supports our Finance and Operations team, providing expert accounting and reconciliation skills critical to managing our financial health. This fully remote role includes flexible hours suited for candidates seeking balance and impact.

In Short

• Part-time hourly role with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Work closely with a third-party accounting team.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.
• Record and allocate payroll transactions.
• Process deposits against invoices and revenue accounts.
• Enter and post accounts payable transactions.
• Generate monthly revenue reports.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support finance staff with tax and audit preparation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Experience with accounting platforms, especially Sage Intacct.
• Demonstrated skill reconciling multiple accounts.
• Professional communication skills.
