Senior Field Strategist, Steel - Remote

Overview

The Senior Field Strategist at Industrious Labs will lead efforts to create a sustainable and equitable steel industry by building coalitions and engaging communities impacted by steelmaking.

• Fully remote position with a focus on sustainable steel.
• Develop and implement leadership programs for communities affected by steelmaking.
• Coordinate the Alliance for Clean Steel coalition.

• Recruit and build coalitions of labor, community, and green groups.
• Design and implement training for stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to equity and justice in all initiatives.
• Ability to travel at least once a month.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in coalition development and capacity building.
• Experience in the climate movement or social justice advocacy.
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Experience in community mapping and power analysis.
• Mastery of advocacy and organizing efforts.
• Willingness to relocate to specific Midwestern states if necessary.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.
