Overview

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, managing payroll records, and addressing employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.

In Short

• Process monthly international payrolls and bi-weekly payroll for Canada and US.
• Maintain up-to-date databases reflecting current employee information.
• Review and validate employee time sheets for accuracy.
• Set up new hires in time tracking systems.
• Prepare reports for accounts payable and reconcile invoices.
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service for payroll inquiries.
• Communicate with HR and Finance on payroll matters.
• Support Payroll Manager on special projects as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of payroll processing experience across multiple countries.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and technical proficiency.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
