Finance Director - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) analysis, tax preparation, international tax compliance, QuickBooks Online (QBO) management, cash flow, and financial forecasting.

In Short

• Manage all financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis for potential M&A opportunities.
• Prepare and file corporate income and sales tax returns.
• Oversee QuickBooks Online management for accurate reporting.
• Manage cash flow and develop profit and loss statements.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in Quebec.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial management software.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax laws.
• Experience with financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English is required.
