As a leader in image guidance solutions, IMRIS Imaging, Inc. provides optimized, fully integrated image-guided therapy environments that address the important needs of patients, clinicians, and hospitals by delivering timely MRI and imaging data to clinicians for use during surgical or interventional procedures. The IMRIS Surgical Theatre enables intraoperative imaging directly within operating rooms. The Company also designs and manufactures proprietary head fixation devices, imaging coils and OR tables for use in this unique and multifunctional intraoperative environment. It is estimated that over 70,000 patients have benefited from lifesaving or life-extending procedures performed in an IMRIS Surgical Theatre. IMRIS will continue to integrate new intraoperative imaging technologies and shape the future of neurosurgery in operating rooms worldwide.

In Short

  • Field-based, customer-facing role responsible for installation and maintenance of imaging theatres.
  • Technical acumen to deliver customer satisfaction while meeting corporate objectives.
  • Manage customer experiences and vendor relationships.
  • Perform installation, corrective service, and preventative maintenance.
  • Document service calls and maintain records in IMRIS ERP system.
  • Support escalated customer situations and collaborate with teams.
  • Required overnight travel of approximately 60-70%.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to work varying hours and overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent technical training; Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of field service experience in medical equipment.
  • Proficient in standard hand tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and work in an MR healthcare environment.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
  • Strong mechanical and electronics/computer background preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally and support international sites if requested.
  • Must pass drug testing for hospital credentialing.
