Senior Mapping Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Mapping Analyst is responsible for the creation, support, and maintenance of accurate and compliant administrative code set(s) mappings for customers using IMO Health’s interface terminology.

In Short

• Assign and maintain administrative code set mappings (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, HCPCS).
• Maintain content in accordance with code set updates and adhere to coding guidelines.
• Support product release schedules and resolve mapping issues.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in mapping and QA processes.
• Identify areas for map improvement and manage complex customer inquiries.
• Participate in tool testing and support release-related tasks.
• Provide mentorship to developing team members.
• Develop clear editorial content and manage the editorial process.
• Act as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle and health information management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with US-based code sets required.
• One of the following credentials required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in health information management systems preferred.
• A minimum of five years’ experience with medical records coding required.
• Experience with claims edits, payor denials, and risk-adjustment coding preferred.
• Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
