Acute Care Pediatrician - Remote

We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. In Short

• Provide full-time virtual acute care services to patients and caregivers.
• Respond to inbound acute and perceived acute care needs.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Foster trusting relationships with patients and their families.
• Work with Mobile Integrated Care allied health personnel.
• Oversee a team of Advanced Practice Providers.
• Serve as a virtual acute care “attending”.
• Participate in on-call coverage for the virtual acute care program.

Requirements

• Licensed physician (MD/DO).
• Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or General Pediatrician with experience.
• Located in North Carolina; additional licenses in TX, FL, LA, MO, GA preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a high-volume emergency department.
• Experience managing medically complex pediatric patients.
• Bilingual Spanish desired.
• Telehealth experience is a plus.
• Active DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
• Passionate about innovative technology in healthcare.
