Backend Java Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer to join our team on a challenging technology project. The ideal candidate must be an expert in developing applications using Java 11 or 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

In Short

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 11 or 8 and Spring Boot.
• Implement and ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube, BlackDuck, Fortify, and WebInspect.
• Utilize version control tools (Git and Bitbucket) for source code management.
• Develop and expose RESTful services and documented APIs using Swagger.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline configuration and optimization with Jenkins.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the implementation of scalable and robust microservices.
• Develop code using Kotlin when required.
• Maintain and manage Oracle databases, optimizing queries as necessary.
• Participate in unit and integration testing for quality assurance.
• Support continuous improvement of development tools and processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java 11 / 8.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot (mandatory).
• Experience with microservices (mandatory).
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Experience with Kotlin.
• Database management skills in Oracle.
• Proficiency in STS or IntelliJ.
• Experience with SonarQube, BlackDuck, Fortify, WebInspect.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Swagger and Postman (or similar HTTP clients).
