Construction Support Manager - Remote

Overview

The Construction Support Manager collaborates with the Construction Leadership and Hotel Openings team to enhance New Development construction projects, ensuring compliance with brand standards and providing construction expertise throughout all project phases.

In Short

• Conduct on-site and virtual design and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Brand Design Initiatives and franchise agreements.
• Evaluate project progress and mentor less experienced staff.
• Provide feedback on product-related issues and improvement recommendations.
• Verify quality of installation and timely completion of construction.
• Consult with franchisees and design professionals on construction schedules.
• Manage assigned territory and conduct onsite and virtual deployments.
• Develop good franchisee/owner relations and offer construction solutions.
• Participate in project status meetings with construction teams.
• Travel required: 50%.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Project management skills related to the hotel industry.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of brand standards and building codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and architectural specifications.
• Stay current with construction trends and code requirements.
• Ability to prioritize project details and manage time effectively.
