Overview

As a Power Trading Expert at Ignitis, you will be responsible for buying and selling electricity on the spot market, contributing to a green and secure energy ecosystem.

In Short

• Adjusting day-ahead forecasts
• Executing trades on the day-ahead market
• Preparing power trading reports
• Supporting data extraction and transformation tasks
• Calculating imbalance margins
• Participating in power trading desk upgrade projects
• Executing trades on weekends and holidays

Requirements

• University degree in Energy, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• Experience in MS Excel (VBA) and Python is an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in the energy market
• Initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Desire to learn specifics of the energy market
• Excellent communication skills in English
