Social Media Manager (Web3) - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, self-driven Social Media Manager to grow the Status movement, spark engagement, and build crypto twitter culture around the Status App and ecosystem.

In Short

• Run our social channels (X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, Farcaster, etc.)
• Bring crypto twitter and meme culture into our communications
• Monitor crypto channels and spot trends relevant to the Status app
• Work in tandem with the Program Lead on social media strategy
• Prepare release communications and plan event-based campaigns
• Collaborate with partners and promote blog articles across channels
• Manage in-app Status news feeds to drive engagement
• Engage with the community through real content and conversations
• Use data to refine strategy and execution
• Be a self-starter and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Experience in web3, crypto, or privacy spaces
• Familiarity with social platforms where real debate occurs
• Ability to write clearly and passionately
• Skills in content production (images/videos)
• Organized and ready to handle urgent tasks
• Comfortable working asynchronously and remotely
• Curiosity and a passion for tech, privacy, and decentralization
• Belief in open source as a collaborative power
• Located in the European time zone or close to it
