UI/UX Product Designer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, self-driven UI/UX Product Designer to own end-to-end product UI/UX for Status Apps across mobile, desktop, and web.

In Short

• Design for freedom, privacy, decentralisation, and censorship-resistance.
• Work on a privacy-preserving Super App for secure communication and financial coordination.
• Collaborate with Product and Developers on UI/UX that balances usefulness and aesthetics.
• Produce storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for mobile, desktop, and web.
• Set up scalable UI/UX design workflows.
• Develop a cohesive design system aligned with the Status brand.
• Conduct user research and usability testing.
• Translate complex crypto concepts into intuitive experiences.
• Work in a fully remote, async-first environment.
• Contribute actively to web3/crypto/privacy discussions.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ mobile UI/UX experience.
• Startup experience in fast-paced environments.
• UI/UX work for Web2/Web3 products.
• Strong Figma skills.
• Ability to create/edit product images/videos.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Autonomous and curious about tech and privacy.
• Located in or near the European time zone.
• Fluent in English.
• Bonus points for open-source contributions.
