On-Call Archaeological Field Technician - Remote

Overview

The On-Call Archaeological Field Technician will assist senior archaeologists and historians with survey and excavation field work throughout the Southeastern United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field.
• 1-year relevant professional work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• Successful completion of an Archaeology Field School/Internship.
• Ability to work in remote locations.
• Experience in archaeological survey and excavation.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent field skills and record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in high temperatures.
