Senior AWS Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

ICF’s Digital Modernization Division is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support federal clients in managing cybersecurity and vulnerability remediation activities.

In Short

• Open to 100% remote work within the continental US.
• Support federal customer’s CIO Cyber Security organization.
• Perform Security Impact Analyses on application releases.
• Conduct software vulnerability scans and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Review AWS policy change requests.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve security practices.
• Support vulnerability management for Cloud systems and IoT assets.
• Maintain compliance with FISMA and NIST requirements.
• Assist in growth-related activities such as RFI and RFP.
• Uphold necessary certifications for practice expertise.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Cyber/Network security management experience.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Security.
• 3+ years of Application Security experience.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools like Fortify and Qualys.
• 2+ years of experience using SDLC Methodologies.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder for 3+ years.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with OWASP, Splunk, Java, SQL is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, APIs, and WAF.
