Head Start Early Childhood Specialist - Remote

Overview

ICF seeks an experienced Early Childhood (EC) Specialist to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs to ensure high quality Head Start and Early Head Start services in accordance with federal regulations.

In Short

• Provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to programs.

• Minimum of a BA or BS degree in Early Childhood Education/Development.
• 5+ years' experience with programs for young children.
• Experience with family engagement and group discussions.
• Provide TTA on school readiness and family engagement practices.
• Assist grantees in improving teacher/child interactions.
• Coordinate TTA with various specialists.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Early Childhood Education/Development.
• 5+ years' experience in early childhood programs.
• 1+ year experience with infants and toddlers.
• Experience in facilitating group discussions.
• Data analysis experience for decision making.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Head Start programs preferred.
